China is known for producing cheap labor and cheap textiles. The country is also known for producing luxury brands’ imitations or mock-ups. And it is not surprising to know, they are also cheating with food produce.

In one instance, US inspectors have found tainted mushrooms that were from China. Allegedly, these tainted mushrooms are processed mushrooms labeled as “organic”; in other words, they were fake mushrooms.

These fake Chinese mushrooms even went viral in the Internet that if you search for “mystery mushrooms”, the SERPs will take you to China.

Approximately 34% of processed mushrooms sold around the world is from China.
